I must say, since moving to the desert 4 years ago,  I have missed having distinct seasons. The first year I was here it was quite horrid. HOT / BORING, HOT / MONSOONING and MODERATE BREEZE / HOT SUN are the desert’s only seasons. Once you live here a while you begin to recognize there are nice little evidences of fall, winter and spring. { We did get measurable snow in the mountains this year, so that was exciting and odd. } SPRING is my favorite though… because all the flowers the desert does  not kill, bloom and things get a little greener and less brown… makes it feel like a somewhat normal spring around here.

I’m not sure I could pull of the belt or corsage, but they would definitely be cute for general decoration! Especially the bottom left, if I could live in a color pallet… They’re so pretty and pretty pricey as well. I hear they’re made out of fabric… wonder if I could make them out of paper? …I smell another craft project. Add it to my growing list.
